What “patient-directed” means
- The evaluation is conducted for the benefit of the individual.
- Any written summary or opinion is provided directly to the patient.
- The patient may choose how, when, or whether to share this information with third parties.
- The service does not include direct communication with licensing boards, employers, or regulatory organizations.
Individuals are responsible for confirming whether an independent expert opinion meets the requirements of any third party.
